Tenkaippin Kotteri Ramen Instant Noodle Soup from Sanyo
Today when I stopped by a Seven-Eleven convenience store on the way home from work, a bowl of instant ramen drew my attention.
It was a new addition by Sanyo Foods whose name “Tenkaippin (天下一品)” caught my eye.
Sanyo Tenkaippin Kotteri Ramen Instant Noodle
For the unfamiliar, Tenkaippin is a Japanese ramen chain that started its business in Kyoto in 1971, and as of today (10/26/2021), it has 233 locations around the country.
The restaurant is especially popular for its “Kotteri Ramen (こってりラーメン)” with thick chicken broth and has many repeaters for its addictive taste.
With the help of Tenkaippin, Sanyo created this that beautifully recreates the ramen chain’s signature dish Kotteri Ramen and introduced the product into the market on October 25.
