Now it’s mid-December, and a big event for everyone, Christmas, is nearing day by day. Here in my city, Niigata, the first snow of this year fell today, and we are now ready to welcome Santa.

Although researching the product after returning home, I only found actual Gateau au Chocolat recipes using Kit Kat chocolate in English Google search results, so this flavor seems to be a Japan-limited edition.

This Kit Kat chocolate, which I purchased at 284 yen, comes in individually wrapped mini bars, as always, and contains ten pieces. The wrapper has two designs with which I can associate Christmas.

As for the taste too, the Kit Kat chocolate bar captures the flavor of Gateau au Chocolat very well by using actual 2 percent strawberry juice and rum. It is so good, but last, I gave it a twist I have been loving.
