Umaibo Corn Puff Sweet Flavors Vol.1: Chocolate
As far as I know, there are two sweet flavors in the Yaokin Umaibo puffed corn snack series. One is Chocolate, and the other is Sugar Rusk.
But since those sweet Umaibo sticks are not available around where I live, I had no choice but to order them in bulk on Amazon.
Umaibo Chocolate from Yaokin
Yesterday, I received the rare flavors of Umaibo I had never tried from Amazon, including Chocolate and Sugar Rusk, and immediately sampled the former.
The first thing you notice after opening the bag will be the size is small compared to other Umaibo sticks.
As with others, the price of Umaibo Chocolate is 12 yen, but probably due to its milk chocolate coating, I guess the stick is smaller.
Also, the corn puff inside appears flavored with chocolate. Unlike Sanritsu Choco Bat, the puffed snack is airy and holds its crispy texture.
As you can see in the photo, the size is a bit small, but the taste is well-balanced and so good that I instantly fell in love with the chocolate snack just after one bite!
